The NIH mHealth Training Institute is a satellite meeting of the mHealth Summit.
It is designed to provide behavioral and social scientists tools to successfully add mobile health technologies to their research in a collaborative team environment.
The Institute also provides mentorship opportunities from leaders in the fields of engineering, medicine and the behavioral and social sciences.

What You Can Expect

Attending this two-day Institute you can expect to:
  • Receive an overview of the central, multidisciplinary aspect of mobile and wireless research
  • Follow a project from conception through dissemination led by a panel of experts
  • Be involved in didactic sessions targeting major cross-cutting research issues, and
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team exercises developing mHealth research projects.

The field of mobile and wireless research is rich, complex and ripe with the potential for fruitful findings and transformational applications.
But much of the work being done in mHealth arises from single disciplines without integration of your scientific vantage point – making it critical for you learn how to improve the dialogue. Knowledge integration is key for mobile technologies to be maximally effective.
The NIH mHealth Training Institute addresses these scientific silos by bring together scientists from diverse fields to enhance the quality of mHealth research.

The 3rd annual mHealth Summit Life Sciences Roundtable is a cross-stakeholder forum dedicated to an open exchange of insights for advancing outcomes-driven mobile and connected health strategies and reducing barriers to adoption.
